DIY: MACRAME CACTUS | HOW TO MAKE A CACTUS | YARN CACTUS TUTORIAL ( step by step)

Hi guys, I’m so happy to share with you this quick tutorial for a macrame cactus! The one I made is fair sized, (13.5 inches tall!!), but you can make it any size you want, just experiment with different heights etc before you cut the rope. Another option is instead of yarn, like I used, you can use different types and sizes of macrame cord, string, ribbon, etc to wrap this. Also, you can make it thicker or thinner by choosing the filler roe accordingly. I chose not to use wire in making this, as I don’t find it necessary, it holds great with glue. If you don’t have a glue gun or strong fabric glue, you can sew these into place as well. Here is exactly what I used to make this cactus: - 13mm rope cut to 21 inches/53cm and another piece cut to 36 inches/92cm - acrylic yarn to wrap it - 1 wooden bead, 2cm, which I painted myself. - knitting needle - glue gun MEASUREMENTS: HEIGHT: From top of hanger to bottom of fringe.
