Using Creative White Balance to Create a Vibrant Fashion Image

In today’s Photo Deconstruction I’m going to show you how to create a vibrant, colorful fashion image using nothing more than creative white balance. If you follow my work (I hope you do! If not hit subscribe and the bell!) you already know how much I LOVE putting color into my images. Colorful backgrounds, wardrobe, hair and makeup, light, you name it! One of the ways that I creatively add color into my images isn’t used by many photographers and that is creative use of white balance and tint. What I mean by that I might not have an image that has any color in it to begin with, no gels, etc and I play around with the white balance and tint when processing in RAW. The lighting for this setup is relatively simple. I’m using the Westcott Optical Spot as my main and a large umbrella with diffusion for fill.
