Ward La France M1A1 Heavy Wrecker

Here we can see a restored M1A1 Heavy Wrecker built by Ward-La-France and used by the US Army as a recovery vehicle during WW2. The Ward-La-France Model 1000 Series 5 was powered by a Continental 6 cylinder engine. This one was restored by the Belgian War Heritage Institute and is located in Bastogne. It was recorded in Bastogne Barracks during the 78th Anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge.
