Mob in Philadelphia Surrounds and SURFS on Police Car
This was the moment crowds surfed on police vehicles in Philadelphia after officers tried to break up several illegal car gatherings.
Philadelphia Police were deployed to disperse mobs but were faced with challenges throughout Saturday night as groups quickly moved from different locations.
Prominent political figures reacted to the disturbance including the House Judiciary Committee Republicans who posted a video of the incident on X with the caption: “You’re not safe in Democratic-run Philadelphia.”
Elon Musk, who is a vocal Donald Trump supporter, compared the footage to a scene in “The Joker”.
Police have cracked down on the mob’s gatherings in recent months and have pledged to arrest those responsible.
