Fox cub “Shortcake“ from Bexhill - 23rd March

Very young fox cub thought to be less than 2 hours old found on a driveway in Bexhill 23rd March 2010. Now being hand reared by WRAS carer Monica Russell. This poor little cub still has it umbilicus attached. It is thought that mum may have been in-experienced or was disturbed and gave birth on the run.
