The AFU continues to hit pontoon crossings over the Seim River in Kursk Region (Russia) with GMLRS rockets and cluster munitions
In 2022, the Russian Armed Forces experienced problems with supplying troops across the Dnieper River due to constant shelling of bridges and crossings. Against this background, it was decided to withdraw troops from the right bank.
This was stated in the report of the former commander of the joint grouping of Russian troops, Army General Sergei Surovikin, to the Russian Defence Minister.
Earlier the information has emerged that the AFU are trying to isolate a 480-kilometre zone in the Kursk region. They are destroying bridges for this purpose. What’s more, this complicates the evacuation of civilians.
