AURA - Animated short film (2019)

AURA by Timm Völkner provides a disturbingly emotional insight into the grim world of a patient suffering from migraine. 15% of world population have already suffered from migraine, which makes it the third most common disease on the planet. A large majority of people are anaware of the fact that migraine means more than having a headache. Disturbingly ambivalent and in the guise of a love letter to this illness, the animated short AURA by Timm Völkner tells a story from the grim world of a migraine patient.
