Iran received support of China after Beijing dubbed it as a ‘special partner’. China’s special envoy to the Middle East, Zhai Jun met with Iran’s deputy foreign minister Ali Bagheri Kani. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the BRICS consultations of deputy foreign ministers. Zhai hit out at Israel over attack against Iranian diplomatic premises in Syria.
