In this video we are taking a look at how to setup a basic cursor, at how to change which cursor an UI element will show, how to handle cursor changes on more complex elements and how create a Software Cursor that will follow the mouse and interact with the world. For example, such a cursor could go behind certain elements in the foreground or even have shaders applied to it.
Hints:
I realized that at 7:09 I forgot to mention that I changed the tip of the cursor. The sprite I was using had some empty space, so the tip was not at (0, 0), but at (8, 4)
I found and reported a bug while making this video: #issuecomment-2498547692
