Written by the Italian composer, virtuoso violinist, violist and guitarist Niccolò Paganini (1782-1840), the ’Moto Perpetuo’ Op. 11 is one of the most challenging compositions ever written.
Wynton Marsalis (1961) is one of the greatest trumpeters of all time. He is also a composer, pianist, music instructor, and currently the artistic director of Jazz at Lincoln Center.
Recorded in the album ’Carnival’ (1987).
