Here’s the conclusion of the first arc of “Infinite Eclipse: Prequel’s Finale“ - the epilogue of the Molten Spike arc! Last month I released a track named “Badlands Meltdown“, a boss/battle theme between the Wings of Destruction and Ember & Thorax, and I saw some comments in the video asking what happened to Ember and Thorax. Welp, in this absolutely fantastic animatic Amyntha made - here’s the conclusion of that part of the story! This is “Thorax’ Quietus“, a reorchestration of Thorax’ UEP theme. Hope you’ll enjoy this animatic (you might already have seen it on Amyntha’s channel)! In any case, here are some words from Amyntha: “The end of the Molten Spike Arc in Infinite Eclipse: Prequel’s finale has arrived... An animatic half a year in the works, and a year and a half in planning, is finally done! The animatic portrays the end of the Molten Spike Arc, Thorax and Ember are fighting hard to save their friends and subjects from the goddesses. Thorax is reminded of all those he lost while he passes on to the afterlife and he is confronted with his last memories again. It’s finally done!! I thought of this animatic back in 2022 when I was in Canada listening to Thorax’ UEP theme. When I pitched my idea to Jyc he told me it was close to the actuall cannon. So I adjusted the story but had to wait for a year before I could start on this animatic. I ended up starting and consulting with Jyc often about the different scenes. He then mentioned he’d like to change the song and make one specific for this animatic! To give Thorax and the others their proper send off in this story. (Also we kept kinda overtaking eachother on the emotions part in this animatic, sorry everyone ^^“) I noticed a big growth in my work during the making of this animatic causing the scenes to be looking sometimes quite different from eachother. But I’m still proud of it, definitely cause it was planned to be just a greyscale sketch animatic... heheh... why do I do this to myself? Thank you all so much for watching this!!“ (PS: It is not in the animatic because it’s off-camera, since the animatic is about Thorax, but just before arriving and saving Thorax from Molten Ocellus, Ember just had to deal with Molten Smolder as well.
