A first glider lesson.

A complete 40 minute glider flight, from takeoff to touchdown. The winter day was overcast and not great for soaring, but we were able to find a little ridge lift. The student had decided he wanted to learn to learn to fly, but not what of aircraft. He went for a trial lesson in a single-engine plane several hours before this glider flight.
