13 Confusing Science Toys/Gadgets!

Hello Everyone ❤ Sit back and relax. Enjoy 8 minutes of oddly satisfying scientific curiosities featuring various mind-blowing stuff! If you guys liked this video please follow us on Instagram : And subscribe to our channel @physicsfun Buy them on 🌎 : Buy in rupee ₹ : This video contains: 1) Lenticular Invisibility: this thin acrylic sheet is comprised of tiny cylindrical lenses which can allow images to be “out of focus” along one dimension which blurs thin images and hides them. This 70 lens per inch sheet is part of a lenticular optics kit that came as part of my “thecuriositybox“ subscription— amazing and fun! 2) Perpetual Motion Simulator: this marble machine device does not break any laws of thermodynamics- but it sure looks like it! 3) Computational Caustic Projection: an image is formed by refraction through a free form lens in a new process that utilizes the physics behind how light is concentrated into caustics. This piece of molded acrylic has a surface of slight but precisely constructed curves, that when lighted by a broadband light source (Maglite flashlight bulb), projects an image of a lion onto a plane. This is not a hologram, but instead a new proprietary light redirection technology by the company RAYFORM. 4) 50|50 Cube: One must hold and manipulate this simple sculpture for greatest impact. W: Mg: 5) Reflective Kinetic Sculpture 6) “Pet Tornado“: whirlpool powered by a magnetic stirrer (like those in a chemistry lab). The knob on the side has settings F1 through F5 😁 One of my sillier toys- but vortices are just so cool. 7) Magnetic Stirrer Vortex 8) Story Scope: mirror anamorphic art- the distorted images on the cylinder are reconstituted within the reflection off the parabolic mirror. 9) Pendumonium 10) Static Spheres: triboelectric effect toy. The red acetate spheres are given an acquired net negative charge, and their mutual repulsion allows them to jump a centimeter or more as charge is manipulated on the PET plastic container. Bringing an object near the container momentarily moves electrons (charge) around creating repulsive forces (sphere v. sphere) and attractive forces (spheres and container) resulting in the observed motions. The red spheres interact with each other without coming into physical contact (as shown in 240 fps slow motion) as like charges repel. Shaking the system a bit allows the red spheres to pick up charge in the first place by colliding with the container. 11) Unique Balance Toys 12) Everscape Perspective: 17 flat images combine to produce a 3D illusion of structure and depth encased in glass. 13) Magneview Flim: making the invisible visible and revealing the hidden physics of our everyday world. Microscopic cavities in this green film are filled with oil and tiny flakes of Nickel metal- like compass needles, the flakes align with the magnetic fields revealing the complexity of the north and south pole domains of these magnets. Two of the disk magnets have multiple north and south poles and look like gears with teeth- these are rotors from small motors. 👉🏻 Viral stuff on internet vs @physicsfun 👉🏻 BONUS CLIP 👉🏻 Randomly selected comments Background music by : Song: ❰Chillout❱ Sappheiros - Embrace Video Link: Flow by Nomyn Creative Commons — Attribution 3.0 Unported — CC BY 3.0 Free Download / Stream: Thanks for watching❤
