Blind Guardian & Tolkien: Nightfall In Middle-Earth and beyond
Blind Guardian’s music is heavily influenced by the world of Middle-Earth, created by J. R. R. Tolkien, the author of the Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and The Silmarillion. In this episode of “Tolkien & Metal“ we will explore Tolkien’s influences on Blind Guardian, starting with the band’s debut album Battalions of Fear, through the songs Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, the album Nightfall in Middle-Earth and onwards.
