This sacred song is originally performed by the beautiful band Curawaka. It is based on a chant sung by the indigenous Huni Quin people of Brazil and Peru.
The song honours the elements - fire, water, air, earth and the mind. The chorus translates to ‘eternal transformation’.
Filmed on Cozumel Island, Mexico.
Thankyou to Nathan Gabriel for filming, Gabriel Rousseau for recording, and Juliette Naniot for the love, support and dance moves!!
Long live Huni Quin!
Long live people of the forest!
Haux Haux!!
