This Week in Volcano News; Taal Erupts, Mauna Loa’s Waning Eruption

In the Philippines, a new but small volcanic eruption occurred at the Taal volcano. However, this did not occur without warning. Meanwhile, in Hawaii, Mauna Loa’s eruption continued over the past week but is nearing its conclusion. And, in Indonesia, the Karangetang volcano is now erupting at both of its primary summits.
