In 2010, at the age of 27, Candide Thovex pulled off one of the most impressive comebacks of all-time. After winning just about every Freestyle competition (including three golds at the Aspen Winter X Games in the Big Air, Super Pipe and Slopestyle), Candide missed the 2008 and 2009 seasons through what many saw as a career ending injury. In 2010, Candide returned to competitive sport, but this time around, he chose freeriding and decided to enter the 2010 Freeride World Tour.
