Marathon remixes (2021) by Cory King Tucker (composition by Alexander Seropian for Bungie, 1994)

Cory King Tucker of MetaMorphosys ( and has remixed the entire soundtrack to Bungie’s classic 1994 boomer shooter Marathon, originally composed by Alexander Seropian. You can download these here: These sound phenomenal, as though Seropian had enjoyed access to Vangelis’ synthesizer collection while composing the soundtrack. (Seriously, I thought of Blade Runner’s soundtrack at least half a dozen different times while listening to this.) A lot of these feel like how Seropian must’ve wanted the songs to sound from the start. Superb sound quality and dynamic range, too. When I inevitably re-record all my M1 films in 60 fps, I may use these as the soundtrack. Marathon is copyright 1994 by Bungie, and the rights to its soundtrack presumably still belong to either Bungie or Seropian, but Bungie released the entire Marathon trilogy as freeware in 2005, so it’s a moot point. I wasn’t responsible for this remix either, but CKT has graciously given me permission to upload it here, for which I can only extend my thanks.
