Sister: THE CUTTER

LA-based artists Launa Bacon and Cindy Rehm formed Sister in 2010 to explore cultural myths and narratives that have shaped notions of female identity through the ages. Sister’s works have been shown at the Contemporary Art Center, Las vegas; Slingshot Gallery, San Francisco; Craftswoman House, Pasadena and at . in Los Angeles. Sister’s “The Cutter“ was a featured selection at ARTILLERY’s Killer Video Festival, held April 5, 2011 at The Standard, Hollywood.
