# Soft & Fluffy Idli Recipe 🥥🍚🍛
## Ingredients:
- 2 cups Idli Rice (or regular rice) 🍚
- 1 cup Urad Dal (split black gram) 🌾
- 1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds (methi) 🌿
- Salt to taste 🧂
- Water as required 💧
- Oil (for greasing) 🛢️
## Instructions:
### Step 1: Soaking the Ingredients 🌊
1. Wash 2 cups of idli rice and 1 cup of urad dal separately.
2. Add 1/2 tsp of fenugreek seeds to the urad dal.
3. Soak the rice and dal in water for 6-8 hours or overnight.
### Step 2: Grinding the Batter 🌀
1. Drain the soaked rice and urad dal.
2. Grind urad dal and fenugreek seeds together in a wet grinder or blender, adding water as needed. The batter should be smooth and fluffy.
3. Grind the soaked rice separately, adding water as needed. The rice batter should be slightly grainy.
