Originally a solo bedroom recording project of Tj Strohmer, they’ve made a slow and careful shift into a collaborative, production focused, studio recorded band. Strohmer’s philosophical songwriting deals with themes of death, drugs, heartbreak, abuse, and self-destruction. These heavy truths that define the human experience are expressed delicately with lush orchestral instrumentation, giving a beautiful lightness to the songs’ heavy subject matter.
