Sad news breaking today is that the leading light of British Blues, John Mayall, has passed away at the age of 90. Famous not only for spreading the word about the blues in a tireless lifelong Crusade, John spotted and nurtured some of the greatest players the world has ever seen. Recently inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, twice Grammy-nominated John Mayall OBE literally changed the face of modern music. The Godfather of British Blues, John Mayall, has left us.
