Larnell Lewis Drum Solo with Snarky Puppy (breaks kick pedal)

An excerpt from Snarky Puppy live at the Cheltenham Festival 2017. Larnell Lewis starts a ripping solo and breaks his kick pedal; he manages to change the pedal (without leaving the kit) and finish the solo in style. The day following the gig I saw Larnell perform in a masterclass with Micheal League and Bill Laurence; both musicians commented on Lewis’s ability to “make the best“ of the moment and his world class showmanship.
