Russia Air Force Tupolev TU-154 Arrival Brussels Zaventem Airport

Talk about starting the new year with a bang! Absolutely amazing to see my favorite Soviet aircraft again! This stunning looking Tupolev TU-154 from the Russian Air Force is the very last one built. RA-85042 first flew on the 5th of December 2012. It’s just 9 years old! Also crazy that I already caught the very same frame at Schiphol back in 2018! So awesome to see it again! This is my third catch in total of a TU-154. The aircraft came to Brussels Zaventem Airport yesterday with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov onboard. It landed on runway 25R and with the sun from the south it is not easy to get a nice clip. No view of the runway. I’m happy how the video turned out though. I also made some go pro footage. The plane was nicely lit up by the low winter sun and the sounds of the 3 Soloviev D30 engines was brilliant as always! Later I could make some very nice shots of the Tupolev parked up.
