At this state-of-the-art site, cars – including the KODIAQ, KAROQ and SUPERB model ranges as well as the SUPERB iV plug-in hybrid – are manufactured around the clock, six days a week. One of the videos demonstrates the manufacturing process in dynamic time-lapse photography, while the second clip provides interesting background information using real-time footage. The first stop is the body shop, where up to 1,500 bodies are assembled every day. The better part of the welding work is carried out by a total of 893 robots. Following a visit to the ultra-modern paint shop, the videos show the assembly lines on which more than 50 vehicles are built per hour. This means that per day, the ŠKODA AUTO Kvasiny plant produces around 1,200 units of the ŠKODA KODIAQ and KAROQ SUVs as well as the ŠKODA SUPERB and SUPERB iV plug-in hybrid.
