Advancing with Watercolor: Developing a Motif with soft edges

This video was done to supplement the class which I am teaching and developing a motif. Over the next six weeks we will be developing a single motif, in my case I will be developing images of the bridge at the Boston Public Gardens. And each of these videos I will be addressing subjects that deal with Design, watercolor techniques, and other useful information to the advancing watercolorist. In this particular video I addressed the subject of the use of edges and how to create the wet into wet technique using watercolor. The technique was instrumental in creating a tangible atmosphere in the painting.
