Effect of a Mother’s Laughter on an Unborn Baby

For more content like this, click here to SUBSCRIBE to our channel: When you’re watching the fetus on ultrasound & the mother starts to laugh, you can see the fetus bouncing up & down! Sometimes when mothers watch this on the screen, they laugh even harder, and the fetus goes up and down even faster. This is not believed to be harmful, as a matter of a fact, some evidence would suggest frequent maternal laughter is linked to a stronger immune system, better blood pressure control, improved pain threshold & even improved emotional regulation & brain development for the baby. Fetal sensory & brain mechanisms for hearing are developed by ~30 weeks. A reminder to make an intention to find some humor in life this week, it’s free medicine. #maternity | #womenshealth | #ultrasound |
