The debut album of this solo act from Germanic lands. A stellar and often show a great duality uplighting and gloom and blending ambient and black metal in different grades of harshness and delicacy. While this presents a good variety of textures, each track stays quite firm in its concept, not overflowing in tempo changes or genre changes, those instead occur as the track changes. This record seems as a return to the first EP as it embraces the black metal’s ferocity more than the preceding one, yet with a greater work on the songwriting department as well as a more varied percussion. Such happens while showing the great individual treats from before in the synth and guitar synergy and the vocal quality. A great project that keeps blooming beautifully.
