China successfully launched the remote-sensing satellite 40 into preset orbit to carry out electromagnetic environment detection at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in N. China’s Shanxi Province on Long March-6A carrier rocket, carrying out this mission, is a new generation of solid/liquid fuel bundled medium rocket with a launch capability of 4 tons into a 700-kilometer solar synchronous orbit.
