Polaris Dawn begins spacewalk

The Polaris Dawn mission began an extravehicular activity (EVA, “spacewalk”) on 12 September 2024, at 10:12 UTC (06:12 EDT). Mission Commander Jared Isaacman (EV1) exited the Crew Dragon Resilience crewed spacecraft traveling in an elliptical orbit of ~190 x 700 km around the Earth.
