Photoshop smudge painting of photographs

One of my hobbies is smudge painting photographs. Smudge painting is a type of Photo retouching that makes images look like they are painted instead of photographed. Subjective preferences will usually determine how people respond to this kind of work. It is not what I would call art, just a different type of photo retouching that some viewers may find pleasing to the eye.
