For those concerned with the effects of hunting on wild populations, I invite you to research the regeneration and land protection program implemented in the United States paid for through money generated from hunting licenses and 11% excise taxes paid (by me) and other manufacturers of hunting equipment. This program has brought the whitetail deer, wild turkey, elk, and bison populations back from near extinction to stable and healthy animal herds. This is called the Pittman/Robertson Act of 1937.
