On the cusp of the second wave out of Africa

Fifty or sixty thousand years ago, a groups of explorers emerged from Africa and mated with the Neanderthals and Denisovans who lived in Europe and Asia. The resulting hybrids were new and special type of humans; Homo sapiens with a few percent of genes from other human species. These Homo sapiens have proved very successful. They are the Europeans who built the modern world. Now a new wave of the original rootstock of humanity is leaving Africa and entering Europe. Is this as historically significant as that first wave, fifty thousand years ago?
