THE GO-GO’S: ARENA, LOS ANGELES, MARCH 30, 2022! (4K)

THE GO-GO’S! This Go-Go’s concert at the arena (formerly Staples Center) in downtown Los Angeles had been postponed twice due to Covid, so the third time was the charm. The Go-Go’s are widely considered to be the most successful all-girls band of all-time as they are the only all-female band to have written their own songs and performed their own instruments and have a #1 album. The band, recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, features Belinda Carlisle (lead singer), Jane Wiedlin (rhythm guitar), Charlotte Caffey (lead guitar, keyboards), Kathy Valentine (bass guitar), and Gina Schock (drums). Unfortunately, Gina has not been performing lately due to health issues, but she did speak to the audience a couple of times. Clem Burke, the drummer for Blondie, substituted for her and did a great job. I apologize for not having any good close-ups of the band, but I did have an unobstructed view and the audio was really good. I didn’t film the entire concert. Som
