The Biden administration is reportedly set to provide Ukraine with M829A4 armour-piercing depleted uranium rounds. According to the Wall Street Journal, these munitions may be paired with the M1 Abrams main battle tanks expected in Ukraine later this summer. The WSJ report says the US govt has not yet disclosed the quantity of M829A4 rounds that will be sent to Kyiv. Ukrainian troops are currently training on how to use and maintain the Abrams tanks in Germany.
