Full audio recording of 12 year old Buddy Rich, then known as “Buddy Traps“ or “Traps, the Drum Wonder,“ on the 1929 Vitaphone music short film titled “Sound Effects.“ Released in 1930, the video portion of this recording has yet to be found. This priceless recording is presented with the permission and many thanks to Charley Braun, who also supplied several of the included photos.
