Evoluting Sea of Clouds at Sunset (Time Lapse)

This time lapse movie shows the evolution of a sea of clouds between Tenerife and La Palma (Canary Islands), accelerated by a x100 factor. The two highest parts of the island of La Palma are faintly visible on the background, just above the horizon. The astronomical observatory “Roque de los Muchachos“ is located on the right part, 2400m above sea level.
