GILLA. [JOHNNY]. The song about Johnny was released in 1977 on the second album with the frank name “Zieh mich aus“ (“Undress Me“). It was written by none other than the ubiquitous Italian composer Toto Cutugno, who then worked throughout Europe tirelessly. True, the first song was performed not by Gilla, but by the Italian singer Mita Medici. In its version it was called “Uomo“ (“Man“), and the Italian text was composed by the constant co-author of Cutugno - Vito Pallavicini.
