Deep Purple with Joe Bonamassa, Jack Moore & Bill Bailey - Smoke on the Water - Sunflower Jam 2011

Comedian Bill Bailey adds a unique touch to Deep Purple’s rock classic, which also features guest guitarists Joe Bonamassa Jack Moore, son of the late Gary Moore. This performance closed the 2011 Sunflower Jam, a charity show staged at London’s Royal Albert Hall. It tells the story of the recording of parent album “Machine Head“, which was to have been recorded at the Montreux casino in 1971, until it was burnt down the day before recording was due to start.
