Petru Groza Slugă - (Romanian Anti-Russia Song)

●▬▬▬▬▬✦⋆English⋆✦▬▬▬▬▬● Petru Groza Slugă (The slave Petru Groza) is a Romanian anti Russia/Soviet song and at the same time anti communist. It was written and sung by Jean Moscopol. The Romanian word ’’Chinezărie’’ (0:15) has been translated as “Chinesery“; in Romanian, the word denotes an adjective that describes something which is overly-complicated and deceiving. In this song, the word is attributed to Petru Groza, who was a Lawyer prior to 1947. In Romanian, the word “Ox“ (0:21) is an insult commonly attributed to people who are dull, or otherwise dumb. In this song, the word is attributed to Petru Groza who before the communist administration, wasn’t very successful as a lawyer, but found his way to prominence under the communist administration, becoming a genius seemingly overnight. “Gheorghiu Jeg“/Gheorghiu The Filth refers to Gheorghe-Gheorghiu Dej, (0:51) Romania’s head of state during the early communist period. The “SovRom“ (1:12) were exploitative enterprises set up in Romania by the Soviet Union after the end of WW2, the goals of which were to extract Romania’s natural resources and economic output as “war reparations“. The people in charge of the SovRom were often-times corrupt oligarchs and ideological activists, which had no political or formal education, but were trusted simply for being loyal. The last stanza of the song references Liuba Chișinescu (1:15), a communist activist, and head of the “Romanian Antifascist Women“, an interwar communist organisation that was then integrated into the post-war communist administration. ●▬▬▬▬▬✦⋆Română⋆✦▬▬▬▬▬● Petru Groza Slugă (Sclavul Petru Groza) este un cântec românesc anti-Rusia/Sovietic și în același timp anti-comunist.
