LIVE: 70th anniversary of WWII bombing of Dresden

The German city of Dresden is commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Allied bombing that devastated the city during World War II on Friday, February 13. A series of memorial events hosted by German President Joachim Gauck will be held at the Frauenkirche, which was destroyed during the bombing and rebuilt after Germany’s reunification and from the stage on Neumarkt square where participants of the ceremony will build a human chain to commemorate 70th anniversary of WWII bombing of Dresden. -------------
