This “soundie“ (1940s music video) consists of several musical numbers, featuring the sway team of Varios and Vida, and Herbert Curbelo and His Orchestra. Curbelo was well known in Latin America, but obscure to most American audiences. The first track is “Que Buena Es La Conga“ (actually a rhumba) followed by the Cuban folk dance “Shoeing the Mare“, “Watcha Know Joe“, and “Deep Purple“.
