Visit Visit our website This film “Shoot Don’t Shoot“ is one of a series of law enforcement training films created by producer David Woroner and released by Woroner Films. It was made to show police officers what situations warrant the use of their firearm / deadly force against a suspect. It displays a variety of scenarios, repeats each scenario twice, and then says which scenario justified the use of lethal force. It stresses that under the law officers must consider the ability and opportunity of the suspect and his or her jeopardy or risk as an officer before shooting. This film was filmed in Miami, Florida and is a production of Woroner Films, a subsidiary of Motorola Incorporated. It was made with the cooperation of various police departments as well as the State of Florida Department of Law Enforcement. The film opens with a warning page saying that controversial subjects will be covered and that it is designed for the use of law enforcement officers only (0:10). Two black men with guns and one pointing his gun at the cashier and then they both fire at the police officer (19:55). Hands on the steering wheel as the car drives down the road (20:24). The officer pulls over a convertible car and makes a call over the Motorola radio (20:42). Blonde attractive woman in blue convertible car (21:13). The police officer approaches the woman and she greets him with a smile but then she reaches over and picks up a gun and shoots at the officer (21:24). Black man walks out of a warehouse and puts items in an open van and another man follows behind him and then they climb a fence (22:43).
