Where have all the flowers gone (Cover)

Today, Paul will sing a cover of “Where have all the flowers gone”, a song written by American singer-songwriter Peter Seeger in 1955. The lines of the first three verses were taken from the traditional Cossack folk-song “Koloda-Duda”, referenced in the Mikhail Sholokhov novel “And Quiet Flows the Don” (1934). The music was based off an Irish lumberjack song with the words “Johnson says he’ll load more hay”, which Peter Seeger slowed down to incorporated the lines into it.
