For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colours (114) Shocking Pink, (519) Fresia, (222) Tulip, (254) Moon Rock and (110) Black. A crochet hook, I used a hook. A darning needle to weave in ends and a pair of scissors. Thread and needle to stitch the flamingo together. A white bead if desired.
The finished size will be 28cm wide x 30cm high (11” wide x ” high) for the larger standing flamingo, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The size of the standing flamingo in Catona will be 22cm wide x 23cm high (8.5” wide x 9” high). The medium standing flamingo will be 19cm wide x 16cm high (7.5” wide x ” high) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small standing flamingo will be 14cm wide x 15cm high (5.5” wide x 6” high) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
