RUSSIA: BOMB EXPLODES OUTSIDE MOSCOW SYNAGOGUE UPDATE

Russian/Eng/Nat Thursday’s bomb blast at a Moscow synagogue is thought to be the latest in a series of racist attacks in the Russian capital. Two weeks ago, a black U-S marine was beaten up by a group of skinheads and many embassies have warned their non-white citizens to be on their guard. Many fear that while state-sponsored antisemitism disappeared with the end of the Soviet Union, state-tolerated racism has not.
