Watercolor Textures using SALT and CLING WRAP / Red Poppy / Speed Painting

This is a time lapsed video of my most recent watercolor painting which shows the amazing textures you can create in watercolor using SALT and cling wrap for the first time. 😊 On Canson watercolor paper, I wet the entire paper first (except for the flower which was blocked off using masking fluid). Once I had the colors down, I sprinkled salt throughout the painting but later decided to lay cling wrap on the bottom portion. Both salt and cling wrap create amazing textures as the paint dries. For this painting, I used Winsor & Newton half pans.
