It’s Christmas in July time again for @CanonRenaissance and here I am sliding in just under the wire with another gift for @StragProductions 😎 When I got you again my first thought was “how on earth am I going to top Clopin/Hildegard.” I knew Rock and Rule was always going to be a winner, and I’d been getting into MCR’s discography recently, so I flipped through the top hits playlist on Spotify a few times until I landed on this one. Gave me some GREAT lyric matches and I really think Omar and company would be really into these Jersey freaks. For some reason I always assumed Ohmtown was in Pennsylvania? What an arbitrary headcanon. I don’t think the movie specifies (obviously Nuke York is a thing but the rest of the place) or if it does I was too out of it to remember and so was everyone who edits the wiki. It’s giving Appalachian ex-miner town ala Katniss and District 12. I recognize this means nothing to you as a Briton I’m just spitballing. Rock and Rule does things to your brain, sometimes they’re good things? I’ve edited it enough now that I can really appreciate how off the charts the Vibes are, which to be honest is the most important thing for me when I’m editing (if we ever do a spiritual sequel to Juice we gotta incorporate Cinderella she’s That Bitch.)
