Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - 1990 World Figure Skating Championships, Ice Dancing, Free Dance - Marina Klimova and Sergei Ponomarenko of the Soviet Union skated a beautiful dance that placed 2nd in this phase. However, with their lead in the Compulsory Dance portion, they were able to win the Gold Medal here.
