If you’ve ever felt like adding reverb to a sound like a synth lead, pluck or even a vocal made your isolated sound better, but hurt your overall mix, try this tip and trick.
This is also a great way to add 3 dimensional depth to your reverb FX.
Instead of leaving your reverb in the center on a stereo track like vocals or a synth lead, create to AUX sends and pan one to the left and the other to the right.
Put TWO different reverb plugins, one on each AUX send to create a really rich and spacial effect. The key is to use different reverb types for each AUX send.
